Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the production and ensure the function of renewing the absorbing material.
SOLUTION: The body fluid absorbing article is provided with a liquid-permeable surface layer 2 provided on the side facing the skin of the body, a spillage preventing layer 3 provided on the side farther from the skin and an absorbent 1 for absorbing and holding the body fluid provided between the surface layer 2 and the spillage preventing layer 3. An absorption control layer 5 in which the liquid-impermeable range thereof reduces at each discharge of the body fluid is provided between the surface layer 2 and the absorbent 1. The absorption control layer 5 herein favorably used is a water-soluble film which is worked to repel water and made liquid-impermeable on the side of the surface layer 2 thereof alone.
