Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-body side part structure that is able to maintain rigidity of a vehicle body without extending a locker reinforcement to a wheel outer house and reduce a cost as well.SOLUTION: In a vehicle-body side part structure, a reinforcement bracket of hat-like cross-section is disposed between a locker reinforcement and a wheel outer house. One-end side face of the reinforcement bracket is formed with a connection piece joined to a side face of the wheel outer house. An upper-end edge part of the reinforcement bracket has an upper-end flange joined to an opening flange part of the wheel outer house. A one-end-side upper part of the reinforcement bracket projects up to a middle position, in a vertical direction, of the upper-end flange part. A front end of the projecting one-end-side upper part has a one-end-side upper flange facing a vertical wall surface and being joined thereto, in a vehicle body width direction, of the wheel outer house.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
