Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance thermal efficiency of a refrigerator, which is necessary for re-liquefying a boil-off gas, to reduce necessary power for the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A system for re-liquefying a boil-off gas generated in a storage tank for a cryogenic liquefied gas includes: a magnetic refrigerator including a magnetic field formation part capable of magnetization and demagnetization, a hot end part in which heat storage is performed by rise in temperature of a magnetic working substance and a cooling part in which cool storage is performed by fall in temperature of the magnetic working substance and liquefying a boil-off gas at the cooling part; and a refrigerator that circulates refrigerant to the hot end part to absorb the heat storage from the hot end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
