To provide a boiler demolishing method by which a boiler installed in a building can be highly efficiently and safely demolished.
The method to demolish the boiler 2 installed in a state to be suspended from a top girder 1 at the upper part of a building comprises a temporary supporting frame installation process wherein a temporary receiving frame 3 is installed below a boiler 2; a boiler loading process wherein the boiler 2 is loaded on the temporary receiving frame such that the boiler 2 is brought into a state to be supported from therebelow by the temporary receiving frame 3; a boiler separation process that the boiler 2 brought into a state to be loaded on the temporary receiving frame 3 is separated away from the top girder 1; and a regular demolishing process wherein the boiler 2 separated away from the top girder 1 is demolished from above and sides together with the top girder 1.
