Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler system and a method of supplying a biomass fuel to a boiler, capable of using the biomass fuel as a fuel while pulverizing biomass with less energy and producing the biomass fuel, and capable of eventually achieving operation cost reduction.SOLUTION: A boiler system comprises: a coal fired boiler 2 for mixing and firing, respectively, a biomass fuel and coal C and generating steam; a blasting machine 30 for pulverizing biomass B and supplying the pulverized biomass B to the coal fired boiler 2 as the biomass fuel; and a high pressure turbine 22 rotating by the steam generated by mixing and firing, respectively, the biomass fuel and the coal C in the coal fired boiler 2, the blasting machine 30 producing the biomass fuel by introducing part of the steam by rotating the high pressure turbine 22 and returned to the coal fired boiler 2, and blasting the biomass B with water vapor.
