To provide a bolt tensioner which shortens a work time for connecting a piston to a bolt and then fastening a nut to the bolt.
The bolt tensioner has: an annular jig 1 openable along a circumferential direction; a plurality of cylinder chambers 2 arranged along the circumferential direction; a common passage 3 which supplies a hydraulic pressure to the cylinder chambers 2 at the same time; a plurality of pistons 4; a plurality of corresponding bolt connecting parts 5 connected to a plurality of bolts 6; a plurality of corresponding piston connecting parts 7; and a plurality of reaction receiving members 8 for receiving a reaction R from a flange F1. Between the corresponding bolt connecting parts 5 and the corresponding piston connecting parts 7, connecting structures 5a and 7a are formed for engaging the pistons 4 with the bolts 6 so as to be disengaged along an axial direction in accordance with a relative positional movement between the bolt connecting parts 5 and the piston connecting parts 7. The reaction receiving members 8 are arranged between the plurality of bolts 6 along the circumferential direction, separated from the bolts 6, are extended along the radial direction of the jig 1 to be longer than a radial width of the piston 4, and abut on the flange F1.
