Abstract:

To provide a cutting device, in which a cutting head does not overrun to shift from a cutting pattern, and the minimum speed limit is added within a range for preventing an overrun to perform cutting in a short period of time.

In a sequence of points, a limit speed is stored in a memory for each point. When a difference in limit speed between adjacent points in the sequence of points is Δv, a distance is d, and an acceleration of the cutting head is a, the limit speed of each point is changed by a processor so that an absolute value of Δv is (a×d)1/2or smaller. Then, the cutting head is moved in accordance with the changed limit speed to cut a sheet material.
