Title:
BONE TRANSMISSION TYPE MICROPHONE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3488749
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To interrupt external noise and to provide improved frequency characteristics by converting the mechanical vibration of sound or the like inputted through skin to acoustic signals by a pressure type microphone through the pressure vibration of a space inside a case.
CONSTITUTION: The case 3 is composed of a material whose hardness is high such as metal and plastic, etc., and is in a cylindrical shape whose one end is closed and a vibration body 5 is fixed to an open end. The vibration body 5 is composed of the soft thin film material of approximately the same hardness as the skin of a human such as silicon rubber or the like, is in contact with the skin of the human or the like, matches mechanical impedance and converts the acoustic signals of the sound or the like passed through the skin to the mechanical vibration, however, it is not sensitive to the noise or the like transmitted through air. An electric converter 7 is composed of a close-talking type electret capacitor microphone or the like and converts the vibration of the vibration body 5 into electric acoustic signals through the air pressure vibration of a front chamber 9. The front chamber 9 and a back chamber 11 are connected by a communicative pipe 13 and the low frequency area of the acoustic signals inputted to the electric converter is attenuated.
