Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot adapter that can return grease exiting on a boot side from an outer race member on an outer race member side.SOLUTION: The boot adapter 40 is a metal cylinder member of which one end is fixed to the outer race member 10 of a constant velocity joint 1 for a propeller shaft and the other end retains a boot 50. The boot adapter 40 has an inner peripheral surface where a spiral groove 46 is spirally formed.
