Abstract:

PURPOSE: To excavate the ground with high efficiency by a method in which a hot spring sampling mechanism is attached to one end of a balance rod pivotally attached to the upper part of a tower and a weight is attached to the other end, and the balance rod is vertically operated by crank operation and hot spring is taken by the hot spring sampling mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: A balance rod 4 is pivotally attached through a support shaft 5 to the upper part of the tower 3 of a base 2 fixed to the ground R, and a hot spring sampling mechanism 11 is connected to one end of the rod 4. A weight W is tung down from the other end of the rod 4. The rod 4 is vertically operated by the action of a crank 8 through a connecting lever 6 joined with the weight W, and moved in a flip-flop manner by means of the crank 8 to excavate the ground S by an excavator mechanism set in the mechanism 11. Hot spring is pumped up by a pump cylinder. The excavation and hot spring production can thus be attained with small energy.
