PURPOSE: Seeds of broom cypress containing water within the limit are combined with water and citric acid at a specific ratio and the seeds in a bottle with an opening are heated with high-temperature steam up to a specific temperature, then treated with hot water at a specific temperature for a specified time to prolong the storage life of the seeds.

CONSTITUTION: Seeds of broom cypress containing water within the limit (about 10kg.) are combined with citric acid (about 0.35%) and water (about 100ml) and the bottle 2 is filled with the mixture. The bottle with an opening is placed in the steam tank 4. After the tank is closed with the lid 5, it is filled with high- temperature stream 9 from the pipe 6 for heating and the steam is exhausted out of the pipe 7 to raise the temperature of the seeds to 90°C. Then, the bottle 2 is tightly sealed with the lid 3 and placed in the sterilizing tank, then heated the outside with hot water of about 100°C for about 1 and half hour. After cooling, the bottle is shipped as a product.
