To provide a bowl sterilizing device, in which the supply of a disinfectant is not required and which has a function in which the adhesion of fur and slime and the generation of a bad odor are prevented by sterilizing a bowl inner surface, a trap section and the inside of a sewage drain piping by generating wash water containing a sterilizing component by ultraviolet-rely irradiation from an excimer lamp and supplying wash water to a closet bowl.
In the bowl sterilizing device installed to a bowl wash-water supply path to the closet bowl or a bowl wash water tank, a sterilizing- component supply section supplying bowl wash water with the sterilizing component is a means, by which hydrogen peroxide as a sterilizer is generated by ultraviolet rays from the excimer lamp.
