To provide a toilet-part sterilizing and deodorizing device, which has a simple structure and the cost of which is also reduced.

A stool cover 3 is installed to a stool body 1 in an openable and closeable manner. 2 represents a closet seat. A pad 4, to which a large number of vent holes 4a are formed, mounted on the stool cover 3, and a hose 7 is connected to one end of a housing cylinder 9. A germicidal lamp generating ozone is arranged into the housing cylinder 9. When the stool cover 3 is closed to the stool body 1 and a motor 10 is driven, ozone generated in the housing cylinder 9 is blown off from a large number of the vent holes 4a of the pad 4 through the hose 7, and toilet parts such as the stool body 1, the stool seat 2 and the like are sterilized and deodorized.
