Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake apparatus capable of suppressing energy consumption.SOLUTION: A brake apparatus includes a link-type booster 3 for connecting a brake pedal 2 to a rod 4 and amplifying, and transmitting, operation force (tread force F) of the brake pedal 2. Further, the link-type booster 3 is set so that an axial stroke amount (a rod stroke S) of the rod 4 is smaller than a stroke amount (a pedal stroke S) of the brake pedal 2.
