Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical take-off and landing aircraft capable of gliding even when losing thrust power while suppressing increase in size of an airframe.SOLUTION: A vertical take-off and landing aircraft comprises: propellers 2 generating lifting power and thrust power; a main frame 4 supporting seats 41 and grounding legs 42; a sub-frame 5 supporting the propellers 2 and arranged rotatably in the longitudinal direction with respect to the main frame 4; power supply means 3 supported by the main frame 4 or the sub-frame 5 for supplying power to the propellers 2; a control stick 6 connected to the sub-frame 5; and a main wing 7 arranged on the propellers 2. The main wing 7 is configured to be usually retracted to a position not to interfere with air flows of the propellers 2 and to be movable to a position for generating the lifting power when losing the thrust power.
