To miniaturize a solenoid valve for switching a flow passage in a brake control device of a vehicle having a stroke simulator and a pressurization control mechanism part.
This brake control device for the vehicle comprises a master cylinder 3, a wheel cylinder 7, a stroke simulator 21, a master cylinder cut SOL17 (normally opened solenoid valve), a simulator cut SOL19 (normally closed solenoid valve), and the pressurization control mechanism part (a booting solenoid valve SOL29, a pressure reducing solenoid valve SOL31, a pump 25, an accumulator 23, a reservoir 5, or the like). The pressurization control mechanism part controls hydraulic pressure in a wheel cylinder 7 when the pressurization control mechanism part is normal, and output hydraulic pressure of the master cylinder 3 is used for controlling the hydraulic pressure in the wheel cylinder 7 in case of the pressurization control mechanism part failure. At least an opening operation of the simulator cut SOL19 is performed only in a non- operation state of a brake pedal.
