Abstract:
To prevent generation of a braking force from being lost due to failure or breakage of a power source, and to suppress an adverse effect associated with magnetization of a magnetic circuit.SOLUTION: By using switching devices Q1 to Q4 connected in a bridge shape to an electromagnet coil 16, power source power of a plurality of power sources 21, 22 is selectively supplied to the electromagnet coil 16 to cause currents i1, i2 having different directions to selectively flow. Even when an abnormality such as a failure or voltage drop occurs in one of the plurality of power sources 21, 22, a necessary braking force can be secured by automatically selecting a power source of a normal system by a brake ECU30. By switching the directions of the currents i1, i2 flowing through the electromagnet coil 16, it is possible to suppress magnetization due to an influence of a DC magnetic field and to prevent generation of the braking force at the time of non-energization. It is also possible to demagnetize a permanent magnet generated by the magnetization and to facilitate diagnosis of each part of a circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
