To minimize the influences of characteristic variation, and sufficiently exert the desired braking performance of a brake device by properly correcting a negative pressure/assisting limit master cylinder pressure map corresponding to a characteristic even when there is variation in a negative pressure/assisting limit master cylinder pressure characteristic of a vacuum booster in a brake device.
This brake ECU 26 of a brake device correction means includes a correction means which compares a negative-pressure/assisting-limit-master-cylinder-pressure-map with data comprising a negative pressure and a master cylinder pressure fetched determined according to whether an actual assisting limit of the vacuum booster is exceeded in treading a brake operating member, and fetched in canceling the treading of the brake operating member under the fetched negative pressure, and which corrects the negative pressure/assisting limit master cylinder pressure based on the comparison results.
