Title:
BRAKE FLUID PRESSURE CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3961043
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and maneuverability on a slope by stopping supply of driving current to a failsafe valve corresponding with one of wheels, and shutting off a fluid pressure control valve and a wheel cylinder for stopping braking during a hill hold function.
SOLUTION: A hill hold function, which gives braking force to respective wheels FL, FR, RL, RR by supplying driving current to respective failsafe valves 21 corresponding with the wheel cylinders 3 of the respective wheels FL, FR, RL, RR at the time of stopping on a slope, is mounted on a controller 11. During a hill hold function, the supply of driving current to the failsafe valve 21 corresponding with one of the respective wheels FL, FR, RL, RR is stopped to shut off a fluid pressure control valve 8 and a wheel cylinder 3 and stop braking. It is thus possible to ensure safety and maneuverability on a slope.
