Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely control the discharging pressure and quantity of a pump while reducing the size and weight of a device for driving a plunger pump and saving power in the brake liquid pressure controller of a vehicle having the plunger pump adapted to feed braking liquid scooped up from a reservoir to a wheel brake.
SOLUTION: Actuators 9A and 9B are connected to the plungers of pumps 8A and 8b in coaxial fashion so as to be switched between an ON state where the pumps 8A and 8B perform discharging operations and an OFF state where the pumps 8A and 8B perform suction operations. The operations of these actuators 9A and 9B are controlled by a control unit based on a time ratio between the ON and OFF states and by making an ON/OFF cycle changeable.
