Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for preventing bird injury capable of being easily installed in an object to be installed even if the object to be installed such as an electric wire is bent.
SOLUTION: This tool 1 for preventing bird injury is composed of a covering tube 10 to be fixed to the circumference of an object to be installed such as an electric wire and plurality of convex bodies 20 protrusively installed around the covering tube 10. The covering tube 10 comprises a tube body 12 formed into a hollow tube shape and having the side wall of the tube cut off in the axis direction, and a couple of guiding parts 14a and 14b extending from the cut-off side wall parts in the outside directions. The electric wire can be covered by passing the electric wire between the electric wire-guiding parts 14a and 14b by an easy work. Incision parts 16 with V-shapes are formed in the covering tube 10 from the guiding parts 14a and 14b to the tube body 12. As a result, the covering tube 10 can be bent at the parts at which the incision parts 16 are formed, and the covering tube 10 (consequently, the convex bodies 20 for preventing the bird injury) can also be easily fixed to the bent electric wire.
