Abstract:

To provide a brake pad manufacturing method enabling a sufficient adhesive layer to be easily produced.

The brake pad manufacturing method includes a washing step of washing a pressure plate 1, an electrostatically applying step of electrostatically applying to the pressure plate 1 powder adhesive 2 which is formed of thermoset resin powder partially including charged powder 2B to which coupling agent is added, a heating step of heating the pressure plate 1, and an adhering step of adhering a friction material 3 pushed against the pressure plate 1.
