Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a superior precision fixing of a branch connection even if a certain variation occurs in an opened hole by overcoming a disadvantage occurence in variation in size of an opened hole to be punched out at a main pipe that is opened by a hole saw.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a branch connection forming a branch passage by connecting a sub-pipe to an opened hole to be punched at a main pipe. The branch connection comprises a cylindrical member to which the sub-pipe can be connected and the cylindrical member being inserted from outside into the opened hole of the main pipe, a flange part arranged at an outer circumference of the cylindrical member and a slant part abutted from inside of the main pipe against an edge of the opened hole, the first fixing member engaged in thread with the cylindrical member from inside of the main pipe and holding the main pipe between the slant part and the flange part, and the second fixing member forming a female thread engaged with a male thread of one of the cylindrical member and the first fixing member to constitute a double-nut mechanism.
