To provide a polisher which can uniformly polish leading ends of bristles regardless of the length of the bristles.
A bristle-end polisher for a brush is equipped with automatic drive means 13A-13D which rotate a cylindrical polishing member around its cylindrical center axial line C1 as a center in the longitudinal direction, an orbital motion drive means 14 which rotates around an axial line C2 as a center crossing vertically with the center axial line C1, and a brush holding member 12d to hold the brush so as to bring in close contact with the polishing member. While the bristles held by the brush holding member 12d are brought into close contact with the periphery of the polishing member, a recessed and protruded part in a ring-like surface shape is formed at the periphery of the polishing member by driving at the same time as thereof automatic drive means 13A-13D and the orbital motion drive means 14.
