To obtain a washing device having high washing effect and capable of washing an article to be washed within a short period of time.
The washing device comprises a flange shaft formed so as to be a substantially columnar body whose inside is hollow; a first supporting shaft arranged at one terminal side of the flange shaft and having a substantially columnar body; a second supporting shaft arranged at the other terminal side of the flange shaft and having a substantially column type body; and a sponge formed of a porous material so as to have a substantially cylindrical body so that a total length along the axial line direction is shorter compared with the total length along the axial line direction of the flange shaft, and arranged so as to be fixed to the outer peripheral side of the flange shaft by an adhesive agent of epoxy series.
