Abstract:
To efficiently carry out reconstruction of a building by securing a larger underground space in reusing the basement of the existing building when reconstructing the building.
In the building reconstruction method for pulling down the existing building with the basement and reconstructing it into a new base-isolated building 2, a cross beam 3a is integrally provided at the upper edge of an underground external wall part 3 before demolishing the basement of the existing building. The cross beam 3 is thereby reused as a base isolation pit sidewall of the new base-isolated building 2.
