To develop a novel antislip groove construction apparatus for a pavement surface that can perform antislip grooving by post-construction even on an already constructed pavement surface.
The antislip groove construction apparatus M for the pavement surface is provided with a machine body 1 equipped with a functional apparatus including a travel device 14 and a motor 15, and a cutting unit 2 supported to the machine body 1. The cutting unit 2 is provided with a cup-shaped bit 25 taking direct charge of cutting the annular antislip groove G on the pavement surface P, on the lower end side in a rotationally driven state. The bit 25 is liftable with respect to the machine body 1 through a facing guide mechanism 3 so that the operating surface of the bit 25 faces the pavement surface P.
