Abstract:
To provide a built-in motor cooling unit of high cooling efficiency.
The built-in motor cooling unit (main spindle cooling unit 40) for cooling a built-in motor 30 coaxially provided with a rotary axis (main spindle 10) includes: a heat radiation fin 34 provided around the built-in motor 30; a cover body 35 that covers the built-in motor 30 and the heat radiation fin 34 to form a pair of opening parts 38a and 38b; and a blast fan 37 provided at the opening part 38a to feed air into the cover body 35.
