To provide a bulb type LED lamp with a simple structure in which there is no increase in the number of components and assembly man-hours even if a light distribution component is provided in a base direction.

The bulb type LED lamp 40 is equipped with a cover 45 as an enclosure member, an LED 42, a globe 41 for covering the LED 42, a lighting circuit 44, and a base 46. The globe 41 is made of a transparent plastic, and when the base 46 is at the lowest part, a plurality of first micro prisms 53 are provided at the outer face of the upper part of the globe 41 than the LED 42 and a plurality of second micro prisms 54 are provided at the inner face of the lower part of the globe 41. A part of light reflected by the upper side micro prisms 53 out of the light emitted from the LED 42 is propagated in the globe 41 and is emitted in the direction of the base by the micro prisms 54 at the lower part of the globe 41.
