Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a bulk wave element high in performance by arranging an oscillator on a base via an oscillation buffer body and arranging a pair of confronted exciting electrodes, in a direction orthogonal to the oscillation direction of the thickness sliding oscillation of the oscillator.
SOLUTION: This bulk wave element S has arranged an oscillation buffer body 5 is formed on a base 1 by a polymer material of rubber and resin and an oscillator 2 formed of a piezoelectric material, where the thickness sliding oscillation of ceramic or a single crystal occurs. A pair of confronted electrodes 3 are arranged in a direction orthogonal to the oscillation direction of the sliding oscillation of the oscillator 2. The electrodes 3 provided for the oscillator 2 can transmit electric signals through the buffer oscillator 5 and drawing part bases 9. A frequency adjusting film 7 is arranged, the acoustic impedance of the oscillator 2 is changed and the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 2 can be adjusted. The arrangement of an element fixing member supporting the oscillator 2 which becomes thin by polishing is also important.
