This bump stopper is used for an automobile suspension having a casing 1 and an elastic body stopper attached to the casing 1. In this case, the casing 1 has a bottom wall 11, a side wall 12 rising from the periphery of the bottom wall 11 and a flange 13 extending outward following the side wall 12, and in the case where the elastic body stopper 2 is compressed toward the casing 1, the stopper 2 compressed against the flange 13 runs on the casing 1.
