Title:
BURNER AIR CONTROLLING SYSTEM OF DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59226219
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep the mass flow rate of air supplied to a burner for regenerating a filter constant by a structure wherein a pressure regulating valve and an air control valve, both of which are respectively controlled by the certain fixed pressure led from a constant pressure valve and the atmospheric pressure, are provided. CONSTITUTION:An air pump 22 is interposed in air passage 23 between an air cleaner 21 arranged at a burner air inlet and a burner 7 for regenerating diesel particulate filter 8. Further, a pressure regulating valve (PRV) 24 and an air control valve (ACV) 25 are sequentially arranged in an air passage 23 downstream the air pump 22. PRV24 consists of a first and a second chambers 24a and 24b, which respectively act as a constant absolute pressure valve (CPV) and a diaphragm type valve communicating to the atmospheric air, and acts so as to close PRV24 with the lowering of the atmospheric pressure. Furthermore, ACV25 also similarly consists of respective chambers 25a and 25b, which respectively acts as CPV and a diaphragm type valve communicating to the atmospheric air, and at the same time is also formed so as to be electrically controlled by means of a computer 28 in accordance with the output of an atmospheric pressure sensor 29.
