Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a burner for stably gasifying pulverized coal.SOLUTION: A burner 11 includes a twist tube 14 and a straight tube 15. A groove along a spiral is formed on the inside of the twist tube 14. The straight tube 15 is arranged in the twist tube 14 so that a spiral passage 18 along the spiral is formed between the straight tube 15 and the twist tube 14. The burner 11, when first gas flowing in the spiral passage 18 is jetted, generates a swirling flow of the first gas, so that second gas flowing in a straight passage 19 formed in the straight tube 15 can be more suitably mixed with the first gas and the mixed gas can be more suitably burned. The burner 11 can be more easily manufactured by inserting the straight tube 15 into the twist tube 14 as compared with another burner separately provided with a swirler for generating a swirling flow.
