To enable a filler wire to be supplied to an abutting part stably with high precision in feed position by putting a filler wire through a wire feeding nozzle with a curved part and supplying the filler wire to a welding point along a weld seam.
A filler wire W is taken out by a wire feeder 21 from a pail pack 11 in which the wire is stored in a coil state, and is delivered to a wire feeding nozzle 25 through a conduit 13. The tip end of the wire feeding nozzle 25 consists of a straight line part on the entrance side, curved part and a straight line part on the exit side. A first and a second roller leveler 15, 18 are arranged between the pail pack 11 and the wire feeder 21, straightening the twisting, deformation and strain of the filler wire W. A laser beam L is transmitted from a laser generator 35 to a welding head 39 through a transmitting mirror 37, with a plasma controlled gas feeding nozzle 41 arranged oppositely facing the wire feeding nozzle 25.
