Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cable coating material having a good workability in a coating work, and a good shrinkability flexibility and durability.
CONSTITUTION: A coating material comprises cloth including polyester fibers of the maximum tensile strength of 5.0g/d or more, a boiling water shrinkage rate of 25% or more, a peak at 70-60°C for a thermal stress curve, and a thermal stress value of 0.2g/d or more at 100°C at least in a part of the wefts. The cloth is thus makes a large shrinkage by a large shrinkage stress when it is processed in a hot water or dry hot process, it can easily tighten a wire core and other materials in coating work.
