Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise and the degradation in a steering feeling by eliminating rattles between a pulley and a pulley shaft in a cable type steering device.
SOLUTION: A taper face formed on the outer periphery of the pulley shaft 32 and a tape face formed on the inner periphery of the pulley boss 33 of the driving pulley 59 are connected on a taper connecting part 52 to connect a driving pulley 59 to the outer periphery of the pulley shaft 32 connected with a steering shaft 29 rotating with a steering wheel. The taper connecting part 52 is closely contacted by urging the pulley boss 33 in the axial direction by a nut 53 screwed in the shaft edge of the pulley shaft 32, and the driving pulley 59 is strongly connected with the pulley shaft 32. As a result, the noise can be prevented from generating from the driving pulley 59 by the vibrations of a vehicle body and the steering feeling can be prevented from decreasing by the increase of the play of the steering wheel.
