Title:
CAISSON MARINE STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3301739
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient sliding resistance and cut-off performance of a caisson revetment, caisson breakwater, and the like, by providing relatively small caissons.
SOLUTION: The caisson revetment is comprised of caissons 1 set on a rear side of the revetment, wave dissipating works 2 set on the sea side, lower concrete 3 on which the caissons 1 are rigidly set, caisson concrete covers 4, and upper works 5. After setting the caissons 1 on the lower concrete 3, shearing key concrete portions 7, 8 which are erected from the lower concrete on the front side (sea side) and the rear side of the caissons 1, respectively, by a predetermined height, and formed of plain concrete or reinforced by reinforcements, etc., are placed together with the lower concrete 3 in one body. The thus placed shearing key concrete portions 7, 8 on the front and rear sides are used as shearing keys of the caissons 1.
