Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent fuel from dropping from a main nozzle under any undesired operating conditions.
SOLUTION: A diaphragm-type carburetor of an internal combustion engine of a portable manual working unit is provided with a throttle valve arranged in an intake passage for combustion air, and this throttle valve is supported on the downstream side in the venturi section in the intake passage so as to be oscillated. The carburetor is provided with a main nozzle 20 arranged in the range of the venturi section and for supplying fuel from an adjusting chamber filled with fuel. This adjusting chamber is sectioned by a diaphragm, and the diaphragm operates an adjusting valve for controlling inflow of fuel to the adjusting chamber. The main nozzle 20 is provided with a check valve the check valve is provided with a valve seat 23 provided in a valve chamber 22, and a valve small plate 27 is provided on the valve seat 23. A filter small plate 28 for completely covering the outflow cross section of the main nozzle 20 is provided on the downstream side from the check valve.
