In the calcined ore conveying crane facility, the conveying container 11 charged with the calcined ore is conveyed to a plurality of calcined ore bottles A-I by a conveying device 1. The conveying device 1 comprises a traveling device 2 moved in an X axis direction; a traveling motor 3 for driving the traveling device 2; a rotary encoder 4 for detecting a traveling distance directly connected to a traveling wheel 40 of the traveling device 2; a traveling distance detection device 5 for converting a signal from the rotary encoder 4 for detecting the traveling distance to the traveling distance; a lateral traveling device 6 moved in a Y axis direction; a lateral traveling motor 7 for driving the lateral traveling device 6; a rotary encoder 8 for detecting a lateral traveling distance directly connected to a lateral traveling wheel 41 of the lateral traveling device 6; and a lateral traveling distance detection device 9 for converting a signal from the rotary encoder 8 for detecting the lateral traveling distance to the lateral traveling distance.
