To solve a problem encountered in the prior art that a part of resin- made products and rubber-made products is mixed in combustible refuse and is incinerated to generate harmful components such as hydrochloride, dioxins and the like since, most of the resin-made products and rubber-made products contain chlorine.

A concentration of harmful substances contained in fume generated when a resin-made product or a rubber-made product is incinerated can be decreased by applying a calcium silicate-containing resin composition or rubber composition to the resin-made product or rubber-made product. The finer the calcium silicate particle is, the greater the effect is.
