Abstract:
To provide a calculation device and a calculation method with which it is possible to more accurately calculate a used amount of fuel gas that corresponds to the use of a hot water heater.SOLUTION: A calculation device comprises: a first temperature sensor 41 provided on a first pipe FR11, out of pipes for supplying hot water from a boiler 21 to a user side, that supplies the hot water to only a plurality of hot water heaters 30 that performs heating using the hot water; a second temperature sensor 43 provided on a second pipe FR12 for returning the hot water having its temperature lowered due to heating by the hot water heaters 30 to the boiler 21; a flow rate sensor 42 provided on the first pipe FR11; a heat amount calculation unit for calculating an amount of heat consumed by the hot water heaters 30 on the basis of signals from the first and second temperature sensors 41, 43 and the flow rate sensor 42; and a used amount calculation unit for calculating a used amount of a fuel gas that corresponds to the amount of heat calculated by the heat amount calculation unit. The flow rate sensor 42 may be provided on the second pipe FR12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
