Title:
CALIBRATION METHOD FOR POTENTIAL SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3481708
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To calibrate the output of a potential sensor accurately even if residual potential is present on a photoconductor or a low price distance correction type potential sensor is employed.
CONSTITUTION: Mutually different sets of a plurality of coefficients are determined to be employed in a formula for calibrating the output from a potential sensor 31. A plurality of means 32-34 calibrate the output from the potential sensor 31 according to the formula using the sets of coefficient thus determined. Output from the potential sensor 31 is calibrated by switching the plurality of calibration means 32-34.
