PURPOSE: To surely insert a slide between a sheet film unit being an uppermost layer and a next sheet film unit.
CONSTITUTION: This sheath 1 is constituted of a rectangular plate part 1a covering the base surface side of a sheet film 2, and edge parts 1b, 1c and 1d formed on three sides of the plate part 1a, then they are integrally molded of resin by injection molding. The cross section of the end parts 5 and 6 of the edge part 1c is formed to be a V-shape whose top is round, and the cross section of a central part 7 is formed to be semicircular. Then, the sheet film 2 is housed in the sheath 1 so as to constitute the sheet film unit 3. Plural sheet film units 3 are laminated and housed in a film pack. When the slide is pulled out after loading the film pack in a pack holder, the sheet film unit being the uppermost layer passes through the aperture of a pack main body and is moved to the exposing position of a holder main body. Thereafter, when the slide is moved in a direction where the aperture of the film pack is closed, it abuts on the end parts 5 and 6 having a wide range where the slide can be inserted previously to the central part 7 of the sheath 1, so that the slide is surely inserted between the sheet film unit being the uppermost layer and the next sheet film unit.
