Abstract:

To provide a jig capable of automatic calibration by a robot without manpower, and a calibration method suitable for automation.

This calibration system of a robot comprises a calibration tool 2 mounted to the tip of a robot arm 1, and a calibration jig 3 located at a calibration position. The shape at the tip of the calibration tool 2 is made coincident with the shape of the calibration jig 3 at the calibration position.
