Abstract:
To obtain a caliper having a novel structure which can avoid, for example, that a posture of a brake pad becomes unstable.SOLUTION: A plate spring of a caliper has: a first piece part facing a first receiving face of a mounting, and contacting with the first receiving face; a second piece part extending to a cross direction from an end part of the first piece part in a first direction, facing the second receiving face, and contacting with the second receiving face; one contact part facing an inclined face of the mounting, and contacting with the inclined face; a bent piece part which is bent while separating from a tip of a protrusion of the mounting, arranged over the second piece part and the contact part, and elastically sandwiches the protrusion by the contact part and the second piece part; and a third piece part connected to the end part of the first piece part in a direction opposite to a first direction, and elastically pressing a supported part of a brake pad inserted between the second piece part and itself toward the second receiving face.
