Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camcoder which has excellent operability and also gets sufficient vibration proof performance in comparison with the conventional manner by providing relaxation release mechanism that forcedly move a mechanism unit of an image recording device to an initial position.
SOLUTION: This camcoder is provided with relaxation release mechanisms 19 and 21 which forcedly move a mechanisms unit 10 of the image recording device to an initial position. In the device, although the unit 10 is supported through 1st to 4th dampers 4 to 7 when 1st and 2nd mechanism 10 and 20 that are arranged between the unit 10 and a chassis 2 are operated and the unit 10 is returned to an initial position, the entrance of a storage medium mounting part 9 coincides with the position of a storage medium inserting entrance of a video camera and a disk cassette can be inserted and taken out. Also, the position of the unit 10 is stable because position regulation is performed by the mechanisms 19 and 21 even when the disk cassette is set to the part 9.
