PURPOSE: To convert photographing information such as date or exposure value into a PPM signal in accordance with film feeding speed and to magnetically record it.
CONSTITUTION: In a camera provided with a CPU 1, a film feed part 3, a serial data clock generation circuit 4, a PPM conversion circuit part 5, a photographing information output circuit part 6, and a magnetic head driving part 7; the CPU 1 generates a reference clock CLK in accordance with the film feeding speed of the film feed part 3, the circuit part 4 generates a serial data clock SCK in accordance with the reference clock CLK, and the CPU 1 converts the parallel data from the circuit part 6 into the serial data in accordance with the serial data clock SCK and outputs it, then a PPM conversion circuit part 5 converts the photographing information into the PPM signal according to the serial data from the CPU 1, the PPM conversion reference clock and the serial data clock SCK from the circuit part 4 so as to magnetically record the photographing information on the film by the magnetic head driving part 7.
