Title:
CAMERA CAPABLE OF SWITCHING FOCAL LENGTH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62239130
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the shutter speed from being excessively high in the short focal length side by making the shutter release time longer in the short focal length side and making it shorter in the long focal length side in case of strobe photographing.

CONSTITUTION: If strobe photographing is selected and a photographic optical system is switched to the short focal length side, a focal length position detecting switch 34 is turned on, and the output of a counter 26 is switched to the high level to set the output of an AND gate 29 to the high level. Such a signal is latched in a D-FF 37 as the shutter release time. If the photographic optical system is switched to the long focal length side, the output of the ANd gate 29 goes to the high level because the switch 34 is turned off. Such a signal is latched in the FF 37 to be used as the shutter release time. That is, since the shutter release time is made shorter in the short focal length side in accordance with the hand-shock limit of a camera the excessively high shutter speed is prevented for strobe photographing in the short focal length side while preventing the problem of hand-shock of the camera in the long focal length side.
