Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate focus control even under an environment where it is not easy to bring a camera into focus in conventional auto-focus.SOLUTION: A camera control device 30 includes: a detection/tracking part 39 for detecting information on the position of an imaging object to be imaged by a PTZ camera 10; a storage part 43 for storing a correspondence relation among the information on the position of the imaging object, information related to the zoom value of the PTZ camera 10 and the focus value of the PTZ camera 10; and a PTZ camera control part 40 for controlling the PTZ camera 10. The PTZ camera control part 40 obtains the focus value by referring to the correspondence relation on the basis of the information on the position of the imaging object detected by the detection/tracking part 39 and the information on the zoom value of the PTZ camera 10, and performs the focus control of the PTZ camera 10 by using the obtained focus value.
