Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim structure to which lenses of spectacles are fitted, and which prevents an action of partial stress which is applied to a lens outer circumference for preventing a crack and chip.SOLUTION: Notch parts 6, 7 are formed on a surface of a rim 1 for reducing flexural rigidity of the rim 1, and suppressing excessive stress acting upon lenses. In addition, plural small notch parts 6, 7 are formed on front and rear surface sides over the whole periphery of the rim. Positions of the notch parts on the front and rear surface sides are deviated, preferably.
